A Holiday Greeting

on Wed, 12/23/2015 - 09:58

As 2015 draws to a close, we send this special message to our singers, friends, supporters and volunteers with wishes to each and every one for a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Our family of choirs continues to flourish and we are grateful beyond measure for your participation and contribution to our success.

Over the past year, ARCS has enjoyed unprecedented growth in all of our programs, record attendance at our performances, and an outpouring of generosity from our community of support. We are grateful for your many gifts which allow us to sing and share the gift of music. Our 2015 Christmas production, "Something Christmas", was attended by more than 1,000 people. We take pride in our mission to awaken, nurture and share the magic of voices in harmony. What a privilege to be part of something so worthwhile!

We are delighted to share with you our performance of "O Holy Night" with the combined choirs of Up2Christmas and Up2Something under the direction of Malcolm Edwards.

Thank you for being part of ARCS this past year and we look forward to seeing you in 2016!

ARCS 2014-15 Annual ReportMembers of ARCS gathered today at the Cardel Theatre to celebrate a season of success! The 2014-15 season, ARCS' 13th year, was a testament to the power of perseverance and determination - and marked by unprecedented membership growth and audience support.

Supported by thousands of hours of volunteer effort, ARCS entertained and inspired more than 2,800 audience members during the 2014-15 season. Some 269 singers took part in one of ARCS’ four divisions, lending their voices to nine performances with over 4,690 hours of rehearsal time spent in making music together. Time well spent!

ARCS members elected their 2015-16 Board of Directors and also released the ARCS 2015 Annual Report which summarizes our remarkable 13th season.  We thank the many, many people who helped to make it possible!
